GC men win fourth straight

PANAMA CITY — Gulf Coast put five players in double figures and 10 players in the scorebook as it won its fourth straight men’s basketball game, 103-72 over Enterprise State on Tuesday night at the Billy Harrison Field House.


The Commodores, 8-2, led 48-30 at halftime and continued to add to their margin while holding the Boll Weevils to 35 percent shooting from the field and forcing 17 turnovers.


Dyshane Murphy led Gulf Coast with 21 points and six assists. Jeremy Harris had 19 points and nine rebounds, Cody Johnson had 14 points and eight rebounds, Van Johnson 11 points and William Robinson 10. The Commodores had a 53-38 edge on the boards.


Gulf Coast is off until Dec. 8 when it hosts Alabama Southern Community College at 7 p.m.
