2022 MLB Draft
GC Baseball Pitcher Carson Dorsey was drafted by Texas Rangers during the 2022 MLB Draft.
During his Freshman season, Dorsey had 12 starts, a 6-1 record, and an earned run average of 3.07. He struck out nearly two hitters per inning with 102 strikeouts in 58 and two-thirds. Dorsey was named to the FCSAA First-Team All-Conference and Second Team All-State.
Dorsey has spent this summer playing for the Savannah Bananas. He currently has a record of 4-0, pitched 22.1 innings, and struck out 32 hitters.
