Cedar Rapids, IA- In a thrilling upset, the #6 Lady Commodores defeated the #3 Kirkwood Community College to secure a spot in the Final 4! This victory is a historic moment for the volleyball program as the Lady 'Dores head to the Final 4 for the first time ever!

It was a true team effort, with the Lady Commodores totaling 73 digs and 23 blocks throughout the match. Every player stepped up to help make this win possible!
The #6 Lady Commodores will face #7 Johnson County on Friday, November 22nd at 4pm in the Semifinal match. 

During their last meeting on October 17th in Pensacola, FL, the Lady Commodores won the match 3-1 against Johnson County. After dropping the first set 21-25, the team came back strong to win the next three sets with scores of 25-20, 25-21, and 25-13.

As a team, the Lady Commodores showed great teamwork and skill. They earned 63 kills with a hitting percentage of .202, 55 assists, and had an impressive 83 digs during the game.
