Panama City, Fla. – In a thrilling five-set battle inside the Billy Harrison Fieldhouse on Thursday night, the Lady Commodores remained undefeated in conference play with a hard-fought victory over Pensacola State (14-25, 32-30, 25-22, 24-26, 16-14). With the win, Gulf Coast now sits tied for first place in the standings with Lake-Sumter at 7-0.
The Lady Commodores will face a busy week of action ahead as they host four matches in the Billy Harrison Fieldhouse. Gulf Coast hosts LBW on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 6 p.m., before closing the week with three straight home contests—Florida State College at Jacksonville on Friday, Sept. 26 at 6 p.m., Lake-Sumter on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 1 p.m., and St. Johns River on Sunday, Sept. 28 at 1 p.m.
