Aguilera earns Defensive Player of the Year

Danna Aguilera has been named the FCSAA Division II Defensive Player of the Year. She has been a standout performer for the Lady Commodores, appearing in all 32 matches this season. She ranks second in the FCSAA in total kills with 400 and fifth in kills per set at 3.5. She leads the conference in total attacks with 1,123 and tops the leaderboard in digs with 460, averaging 4.0 per set. Additionally, she contributes 0.1 assists, 0.3 blocks, and 0.5 service aces per set. Aguilera was named the 2024 FCSAA Division II Player of the Year, she is also the only player this season to earn both FCSAA Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors.
