Lady Commodores improve at Argo invite
Pensacola, Fla. – The Lady Commodores competed in the 2025 Argo Invite, finishing with a team average time of 22:37.28.
Freshman Lauren Logue led the team with a time of 21:26.00. Fellow freshman Hannah Gadberry finished in 22:12.10. Keren Lin rounded out the group of newcomers with a time of 25:36.8.
The sophomore group also showed solid improvement over last season's results. Adriana Cruz-Betancourth cut nearly a full minute off her 2024 time of 23:42.8, finishing this year's race in 22:43.70. Madison McMillan ran 23:23.30, nearly two minutes faster than her 25:17.1 finish in last year's Argo Invite. Keiley Hickman also improved, posting a 24:12.9 after running 24:29.3 in 2024.
The most impressive jump came from sophomore Hannah Da Costa, who took nearly four minutes off her 2024 mark of 27:22.2, crossing the line this year in 23:21.2.
With several athletes showing strong gains, the Lady Commodore s now turn their focus to the FSU Invite on Sept. 26 in Tallahassee, Fla. The meet will serve as an important test against several NJCAA regional opponents.
